ISLAMABAD: The capital administration has clarified that vehicles already equipped with M-Tags will not be required to obtain the newly introduced E-Tags for entry into Islamabad.
According to officials, M-Tag–enabled vehicles will be automatically recognised under the new system and will not need separate registration for an E-Tag.
The E-Tag initiative has been launched to improve security monitoring and traffic management at entry points to the federal capital. Citizens without M-Tags may obtain E-Tags from designated facilitation points by presenting their CNIC and vehicle registration documents.
Further information regarding issuance centers, procedures and requirements is available through official online platforms.
