Bushra Ansari defends Ayesha Khan’s children against accusations

Veteran actress Bushra Ansari has spoken out in defense of the late actress Ayesha Khan’s children, dismissing the harsh accusations being made against them after Ayesha was found dead at her Karachi home.

In a heartfelt video message posted on Instagram, Bushra expressed her sorrow over Ayesha’s passing and addressed the rumors circulating online. Ayesha Khan’s body was discovered on June 20 in her residence in Gulshan-e-Iqbal; police later confirmed the body was at least a week old.

After news of her lonely death spread, many people on social media questioned why her children hadn’t checked on her, with some blaming them for neglect.

Bushra Ansari rejected these allegations, saying Ayesha herself had once confided that she preferred to live in her hometown despite her children’s requests to move abroad with them. Bushra explained that Ayesha’s five or six children all live in different countries and always provided for her needs, leaving money for her before departing.

According to Bushra, Ayesha enjoyed living close to her friends and familiar surroundings and had help at home, including a maid who cooked for her.

Bushra urged people to stop blaming Ayesha’s children, acknowledging only that perhaps they had not spoken to their mother for a few days due to busy schedules. She added that the idea Ayesha’s body lay unnoticed for a week might not be accurate, suggesting it was likely a few days at most.

Despite her explanation, some social media users disagreed, questioning why neither her children nor close friends checked on her for so long if they truly cared.
