MULTAN: Dr. Ramzan Gujjar, Vice Chancellor of Emerson University Multan, has resigned from his post following the circulation of inappropriate videos that triggered widespread controversy and student protests.
The videos, which surfaced online a few days ago, allegedly showed indecent content involving Dr. Gujjar. The leak fueled criticism both within the university and on social media, with many demanding his immediate removal.
According to reports, protests against Dr. Gujjar had been ongoing for the past two years over allegations that he maintained an inappropriate relationship with a female colleague. The colleague in question had reportedly given a statement about the matter, further intensifying the pressure on the administration.
Amid the backlash, Dr. Gujjar tendered his resignation on Thursday. He had served as Vice Chancellor of Emerson University for nearly four years.
