Flyadeal expands into Pakistan with new flights to Islamabad and Peshawar

Saudi Arabia’s low-cost airline Flyadeal has officially started flight operations to Pakistan, launching new services to Islamabad and Peshawar.

On August 25, the inaugural Riyadh–Peshawar flight landed at Bacha Khan International Airport, where it received a warm welcome. A cake-cutting ceremony was held to mark the occasion, attended by officials from the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), Airport Security Force (ASF), and Menzies RAS. The carrier will now operate two weekly flights on the Riyadh–Peshawar route, scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays.

Just a day earlier, Flyadeal launched its Riyadh–Islamabad service. The first flight touched down at Islamabad International Airport with 65 passengers onboard. It was greeted with a traditional water salute before returning to Riyadh with 172 passengers. This route will operate once a week, every Sunday.

According to the PAA, the airline’s entry into Pakistan will not only boost connectivity but also provide affordable travel options for passengers and help strengthen ties between the two countries.
