Flyadeal to launch new routes to four Pakistani cities this August

Riyadh — Saudi Arabia’s budget airline Flyadeal is expanding its footprint in Pakistan by launching four new flight routes later this August, targeting key cities with strong demand from travelers.

Starting between August 24 and 26, Flyadeal will begin operating flights from Riyadh to Islamabad, Peshawar, and Sialkot, as well as a Dammam to Karachi route. These flights will run two to three times a week using Airbus A320 aircraft, offering more affordable travel options between the two nations.

This move significantly expands Flyadeal’s presence in Pakistan, more than doubling its current destinations. The airline had entered the Pakistani market earlier in February 2025, initially launching flights from Jeddah and Riyadh to Karachi.

A notable highlight is the Riyadh–Sialkot route, which has been unserved since Pakistan International Airlines halted operations on it last year. Flyadeal will become the only airline offering direct service on this route when it begins operations on August 26.

With over 5.9 million passengers traveling between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan in 2024 alone, the demand for direct and cost-effective air travel continues to grow — making Pakistan a key market for Saudi carriers.
