The gold rate in Pakistan has seen a sharp decline over the past three days, with prices falling by Rs. 8,500 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
On Saturday, the price of 24-karat gold slipped by Rs. 300 per tola, settling at Rs. 356,400, compared to Rs. 356,700 the previous day.
In the last two days, gold had already dropped by Rs. 8,200 per tola, and today’s decline pushed the three-day total loss to Rs. 8,500 per tola.
Price Update for 10-Gram Gold & Silver
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs. 257, reaching Rs. 305,555, down from Rs. 305,812.
For 22-karat gold, the price dropped by Rs. 235, now at Rs. 280,102, compared to Rs. 280,337.
Silver rates also followed the downward trend:
Silver per tola dropped by Rs. 60 to Rs. 3,963
Silver per 10 grams fell by Rs. 52 to Rs. 3,397
International Market Trend
Globally, the price of gold fell by $3, now trading at $3,337 per ounce, down from $3,340. Similarly, international silver prices slipped by $0.60 to $38.14 from $38.74.
This drop reflects a cooling trend in global bullion markets, which directly impacts local prices.
