Interloop partners with SAP Ariba to drive digital procurement transformation

Interloop Limited, one of Pakistan’s largest textile and garment exporters, has officially launched a comprehensive digital transformation initiative by partnering with SAP to implement the SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract Suite.

As a vertically integrated manufacturer with annual revenues exceeding USD 500 million, Interloop plays a key role in driving Pakistan’s export performance. With its ambitious transformation roadmap, dubbed Project North Star, the company aims to align its internal processes with global best practices—starting with procurement.

In a move from a decentralized to a centralized procurement model, Interloop has embraced SAP Ariba to digitize its sourcing operations, enhance efficiency, and increase transparency across its supply chain.

“Our goal was clear—to build a procurement function that reflects world-class standards while supporting our sustainability and digital ambitions,” said Navid Fazil, CEO of Interloop Limited. “With SAP Ariba, we are empowering strategic sourcing, improving supplier relationships, and unlocking long-term value.”

SAP Ariba will enable Interloop to streamline procurement workflows, reduce sourcing cycle times, access global suppliers, and ensure better compliance and governance.

Saquib Ahmad, Country Managing Director for SAP Pakistan, Bahrain, Iraq, and Afghanistan, lauded Interloop’s vision.

“Interloop’s approach is fully aligned with SAP Ariba’s capabilities. This suite will not only improve governance and efficiency but also position Interloop as a digital leader in Pakistan’s textile industry.”

The initiative also reflects Interloop’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). The adoption of SAP Ariba will further support environmentally and socially responsible procurement.

With a strong international footprint and decades of industry leadership, Interloop’s digital shift sets a powerful precedent for technology-led transformation in Pakistan’s textile and export sectors.
