ISLAMABAD, August 21 — A groundbreaking initiative, Khurshid Answers, has been launched to digitally preserve and promote the vast scholarly contributions of the late Professor Khurshid Ahmad. Developed by the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) Islamabad under the “Knowledge Protection, Preservation, Promotion, and Production (K4P)” project, the AI-powered knowledge bot aims to safeguard his writings and make them accessible for students, researchers, and policymakers worldwide.
The launch event, attended by scholars, technologists, and admirers of Prof. Khurshid, highlighted how the platform goes beyond archiving by allowing interactive engagement with his works. So far, more than 100,000 pages have been added to the database.
Speakers including IPS Chairman Khalid Rahman, Dr. Musthafa Rayes and Farooq Murad of The Islamic Foundation (UK), and Haris Khurshid, son of the late scholar, stressed that the initiative will carry forward Prof. Khurshid’s vision of connecting Islamic thought with real-life challenges.
During the session, participants witnessed a live demonstration of the AI bot, which responds directly based on Prof. Khurshid Ahmad’s works to ensure authenticity.
Khalid Rahman emphasized that the project reflects IPS’s commitment to preserving timeless intellectual legacies while using cutting-edge technology to generate new knowledge for future generations.
