Network Rankings 2025: Jazz and Zong lead the race for fastest upload speeds in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has released its latest Quality of Service (QoS) report for the first quarter of 2025, offering a detailed look into upload speeds across Pakistan’s major mobile networks. After tests conducted in 15 cities nationwide, Jazz and Zong have clearly outperformed Ufone and Telenor, cementing their positions as the top choices for users prioritizing fast uploads.

🚀 Jazz leads in automated upload testing

Using PTA’s Auto Mode Testing — which replicates general user data consumption — Jazz came out on top in 10 out of 15 cities, thanks to consistently high upload speeds. Standout results for Jazz included:

  • Dinga Town: 24.67 Mbps

  • Hub: 24.55 Mbps

  • Chamkani: 24.08 Mbps

  • Hala: 24.04 Mbps

Zong followed with wins in 5 cities, showing strong performance especially in:

  • Dina Town: 20.59 Mbps

  • Rahim Yar Khan: 22.41 Mbps

Ufone remained a distant third, while Telenor lagged behind in all tested cities, posting the slowest upload speeds ranging from 2.35 to 7.70 Mbps.

📱 Zong dominates in real-world app testing

In tests using third-party apps — which more closely mimic real-life internet usage — Zong took the lead in 8 cities, narrowly edging out Jazz, which topped 7 cities.
