PAF pilot files FIR against woman for blackmail after refusing marriage

A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilot posted at M.M. Alam Airbase in Mianwali has lodged an FIR against a woman for alleged blackmail and harassment after he declined her marriage proposal.

According to Dawn, the FIR (No. 232/25) was registered at Mianwali Saddar Police Station. The woman, identified as “A,” is a resident of Chah Hameedwala, Tehsil Dera Ghazi Khan. She faces charges under sections 419, 420, 500, 506, and 211 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), and Section 25-D of the Telegraph Act 1985.

The pilot stated that he first met the woman on social media, where she introduced herself as “Rafia” from Multan and shared personal struggles. She later expressed a desire to marry him. On April 24, 2025, they met in Multan, and her real identity was revealed to him. He then discovered that she had used a fake social media account and misrepresented herself.

Suspicious of her behavior, the pilot distanced himself. However, he claimed that she began harassing him through repeated phone calls and threatened to implicate him in a false rape case if he didn’t agree to marry her.

The complaint also alleges that the woman had previously been involved in a false rape case registered in 2021 at the Women Police Station in Multan under Section 376.

The pilot has requested police protection and legal action to stop further harassment.
