ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) brought home two prestigious awards from the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2025, the world’s largest military airshow, held in the UK from July 18 to 20.
Pakistan’s legendary C-130A transport aircraft won the Conqueror’s Delegates Trophy for its striking display and unique design, which captivated aviation enthusiasts and experts alike. With decades of service to the nation, the aircraft’s special appearance at RIAT drew widespread appreciation.
Adding to the pride, the JF-17 Thunder Block III fighter jet clinched the Spirit of the Meet Trophy for its exceptional flying performance. Its mid-air refueling demonstration showcased the PAF’s cutting-edge technology and the precision skills of its pilots, reinforcing Pakistan’s growing reputation as a capable and modern air power.
Both aircraft became major attractions at the airshow, drawing admiration from visitors and delegations from around the world.
This year’s participation carried even greater significance following PAF’s recent successful aerial engagement with India, further highlighting its operational strength.
PAF officials called the recognition “a testament to the dedication, professionalism, and innovation of our airmen” and said it reflects Pakistan’s commitment to maintaining a strong and secure air defense.
