Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb of Pakistan held a virtual meeting with US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick on June 24, 2025, to discuss ongoing trade negotiations and reciprocal tariffs.
During the meeting, both parties expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far and showed optimism about concluding the technical-level trade discussions in the coming week. They reaffirmed their commitment to finalizing a comprehensive trade agreement that would serve as a foundation for deeper cooperation in strategic and investment areas of mutual interest.
