LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced the launch of a new phase of the Honahar Scholarship Program, offering full tuition fee coverage for undergraduate students across the province.
In a statement on X, the chief minister revealed that 80,000 students have benefited so far, with 50,000 already receiving their scholarships and 30,000 more in the process. She said the initiative has opened doors in 67 future-oriented disciplines, equipping students with skills to build strong and sustainable careers.
Launched last year, the program aims to empower youth by ensuring financial barriers do not limit their education opportunities. “Please apply with belief, study with passion, and never stop believing in what you can achieve,” Maryam Nawaz urged aspiring applicants.
The online portal for the new scholarship cycle is now active, allowing eligible undergraduate students to submit applications.
Officials said the program covers a wide range of fields designed to prepare graduates for competitive local and global job markets. Details, eligibility criteria, and application procedures are available on the official Honahar Scholarship portal.
