The University of the Punjab has officially kicked off admissions for its undergraduate programs for the 2025 academic year — and thousands of eager students are already in the race.
According to the university’s official update, the deadline to apply online is August 5, 2025, at exactly 11:59 PM, so applicants are urged not to wait until the last minute.
In a sign of strong interest, over 34,000 students took part in the first entry test, and the results have already been uploaded to PU’s official website (www.pu.edu.pk). Those who weren’t satisfied with their first attempt also had the opportunity to register for a second test, held on July 20, with registration closing earlier on July 4.
As per PU’s admission policy, 25% of the total admission weightage will come from the entry test — which is compulsory for all undergraduate programs.
To make it more accessible, the university is conducting entry tests in multiple major cities across Pakistan. It has also tailored seven different types of tests to suit various academic backgrounds, ensuring that applicants are assessed fairly based on their chosen field.
