KARACHI: Renowned Manqabat reciter Khawaja Ali Kazim and Naat Khwan Jan Ali Rizvi lost their lives in a tragic road accident near Manjhand, close to Sehwan Sharif, while traveling to Karachi.
According to media reports, Khawaja Ali Kazim and his companions were returning to Karachi after attending the annual Jashn-e-Imam-e-Zamana (AJ) organized by Anjuman Haidery Khairpur when their vehicle met with an accident.
Khawaja Ali Kazim, originally from Gayool, Skardu, gained widespread recognition in his childhood after his Noha and Manqabat recitations went viral on social media, earning appreciation from audiences worldwide. His elder brother, Nadeem Khawaja, also lost his life in the tragic accident. Their bodies are being transported to Skardu for burial.
Religious clerics, Manqabat and Noha Khwans, and people from all walks of life—especially from Gilgit-Baltistan—expressed deep grief and sorrow over the untimely demise of the esteemed reciters.
