Skardu: In a shocking incident at Deosai National Park, Pakistan’s renowned singer Quratulain Balouch was seriously injured after being attacked by a brown bear.
According to officials, the singer was camping with her companions at Bara Pani when the wild bear suddenly attacked. Eyewitnesses said nearby locals rushed to her rescue, managing to scare the animal away and save her life.
She was immediately shifted to the Regional Hospital Skardu by the Wildlife Department and Skardu Police. Doctors confirmed that Balouch sustained deep claw and bite wounds on both hands and has been admitted to the emergency ward for intensive care.
Following the incident, the Wildlife Department announced stricter safety measures in Deosai National Park to ensure better protection for tourists and locals.
