Rising actor Samar Jafri has shared that he genuinely enjoys working as a romantic pair with fellow star Aina Asif, adding that he doesn’t get bothered by what people say about their on-screen chemistry and that the two share a great friendship off-screen too.
In a recent chat with Maliha Rehman, Samar spoke candidly about various topics, including his bond with Aina.
Talking about their friendship, Samar noted that although there’s a significant age difference between them, it never feels that way when they talk. “She’s very mature for her age, and I never feel like I’m talking to someone much younger than me,” he said.
He added that both he and Aina are professional actors who don’t let gossip or matchmaking comments affect them. “People saying things about our pairing doesn’t bother me at all — we don’t even pay attention to it,” he laughed.
Samar shared that he feels happy knowing fans love watching them together on screen. “It’s encouraging when people enjoy our chemistry. It means we’re doing our job well,” he said.
He emphasized that their good on-screen connection stems from their comfortable friendship and healthy working relationship behind the scenes.
Samar and Aina first starred as an on-screen couple in the popular drama Mayi Ri, and more recently, they appeared together again in Parwaaz. Audiences have repeatedly praised their romantic pairings, and just a few days ago, Aina herself said in an interview that she has no problem being paired with Samar and enjoys the positive fan response.
