Karachi – Pakistan made a strong impression at Texworld NYC 2025, held from July 23–25 at the Javits Center in New York. The international trade show, which included Apparel Sourcing and Home Textiles Sourcing, attracted 424+ exhibitors from 26 countries, with a focus on ethical sourcing, sustainable materials, and innovation in the global textile industry.
A total of nine Pakistani companies showcased their products, underlining the country’s growing influence in fashion apparel, denim, and home textiles. Six firms—Mym Knitwear, Niza Sports, Chawala Enterprises, Hometex Corporation, Roomi Tex, and Baraka Textiles—participated with support from the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP). Meanwhile, Az Apparel, Yarana Textiles, and Mahmood Textiles Mills joined independently.
Mr. Adnan Butt, Director of Yarana Textile Mills, noted that the event was productive and well-organized. Mr. Hammad, Marketing Director at Roomi Tex, described the experience as satisfactory, citing meaningful business engagement.
The three-day event brought together leading sourcing nations, including China, India, Turkey, South Korea, Vietnam, and Bangladesh, providing global exposure to Pakistani manufacturers. Pakistan’s participation reaffirmed its position as a reliable sourcing hub, offering high-quality, sustainable, and cost-competitive textile solutions to the world.
