Islamabad/Riyadh – In a major milestone for Pakistan’s gaming scene, 4thrives Esports, a Pakistani PUBG Mobile team, has qualified for the Grand Finals of the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2025, set to take place from August 1 to 3 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the Esports World Cup.
The team secured its place among the top 16 finalists after a strong performance in the Survival Stage, advancing alongside eight teams from that phase and eight others from the Group Stage.
The squad boasts a roster of young and highly talented players:
Shayan “IQ” Asad (21)
Falak “FALAK” Sher (18)
Sameer “Nocki” Khan (19)
Hasnain “T24OP” Rehman (19)
Niash “CAIRO” Hassan (22)
The Grand Finals will feature a high-stakes format, with teams battling over multiple matches and a “Smash Rule” in effect on Day 3—allowing a team to clinch early victory if they reach a match point target and win.
This is a moment of immense pride for Pakistan’s esports community, which continues to gain momentum amid increasing interest and investment. That a mobile gaming team is competing on the world stage—traditionally dominated by PC and console gamers—signals a shift in the global esports landscape, and Pakistan is firmly in the spotlight.
