Meghan Markle may have embraced a new life in the US with Prince Harry, but her ties to royalty are far from over. Despite speculation about a complete departure, royal experts suggest the Duchess of Sussex still wants to keep her royal influence alive.
While Meghan has faced criticism for using her titles to boost her brand, style experts say she is shifting towards a more modern and approachable look. Yet, royal author Tom Quinn insists that Meghan isn’t walking away from royal life anytime soon.
“If Meghan really wanted privacy, she could have returned to America quietly,” Quinn told Daily Mail. “But what she truly wants is privacy combined with world fame.”
Quinn added that while Meghan’s critics find her “therapy-speak” insincere, she genuinely aims to make a positive global impact. Still, tensions with the royal family remain, with royal editor Duncan Larcombe describing the rift as “worse than ever.”
Even so, a potential reconciliation between Harry and King Charles could offer Meghan a path back into the royal fold—whether through her husband or their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
As Quinn noted, “What Meghan wants, Meghan gets. And Harry should know.”
