ISLAMABAD: Adding to Islamabad’s roster of luxury accommodations, the Swiss hospitality brand Mövenpick has inaugurated a new hotel in one of the iconic Centaurus towers, alongside renowned establishments like Marriott and Serena.
According to sources, the hotel recently held its soft launch in the heart of Pakistan’s capital. The brand’s name now prominently adorns the top of the Centaurus building, further enhancing the city’s skyline.
The new property is set to attract both international and domestic visitors, offering a blend of dining options and versatile event spaces designed to meet diverse needs.
Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, a Swiss hotel management company headquartered in Baar, Switzerland, has been a subsidiary of Accor since September 2018, following its acquisition from Mövenpick Holding (66.7%) and the Saudi-based Kingdom Group (33.3%).
The brand currently operates over 80 properties globally, including hotels, resorts, and Nile cruisers, and has an additional 30 projects under development across the Middle East and Asia. Annually, Mövenpick caters to approximately six million guests worldwide.
