Gold prices across Pakistan saw a notable decline for the second day in a row, according to data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association and reported by APP.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell sharply by Rs3,800, settling at Rs354,365. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs3,258, now selling at Rs303,810. Rates for 22-karat gold also slid by Rs2,987 per 10 grams, standing at Rs278,502.
Silver prices followed the same downward trend. The per tola price of silver decreased by Rs9, now at Rs3,790, while 10 grams of silver fell by Rs8, closing at Rs3,249.
Internationally, the price of gold per ounce also dropped by $39, bringing it down to $3,327.
It is worth noting that just a day earlier, on June 23, the price for one tola of pure 24-karat gold had already dropped by Rs300 to Rs358,165.
