Federal Minister for Science and Technology Khalid Hussain Magsi held a significant meeting with Cormac Devlin, Head of Strategic Engagement at the British High Commission.
During the discussion, both sides exchanged views on fostering peace and stability in the region. Minister Magsi emphasized that relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom are rooted in mutual trust and respect.
He noted the growing confidence of the international community in Pakistan, adding that the world increasingly views the country as a responsible and peace-loving state. He also pointed out that Pakistan’s proactive and constructive diplomatic strategy is receiving widespread recognition at the global level.
Referring to national security, Magsi underlined the firm commitment of Pakistan’s armed forces to safeguarding the country’s sovereignty, stating that this resolve has been made clear to the world.
He further highlighted that the Kashmir issue has once again gained attention on international platforms and reiterated Pakistan’s desire to work with the global community to ensure stability in the region.
