Pakistan’s first locally assembled hybrid SUV to launch on 16 August

GWM Pakistan, in collaboration with Sazgar Engineering, has opened pre-bookings for the Haval H6 Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) — the country’s first locally assembled hybrid SUV. Customers can reserve the vehicle with a booking fee of Rs. 1.9 million ahead of its official launch on 16 August 2025.

Bigger and roomier design
The 2025 facelifted Haval H6 HEV is now 50 millimeters longer, bringing its total length to 4,703 millimeters. The added length improves rear passenger comfort and boosts cargo space. It also measures 1,886 millimeters in width, 1,730 millimeters in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,738 millimeters — making it a spacious mid-size SUV ideal for both city commutes and long journeys.

Price and taxes
The ex-factory price is set at Rs. 11.749 million. However, buyers should expect higher on-road costs due to the recent GST hike from 8.5% to 18%, which will impact the final purchase price.

Performance and fuel efficiency
The Haval H6 HEV has already made waves in ASEAN markets by traveling 1,242 kilometers on a single fuel tank — a record for hybrid SUVs in the region. This impressive range underscores its efficiency, making it an attractive choice amid Pakistan’s rising fuel prices.
