LAHORE: Hania Aamir’s recent meet-and-greet in Dallas took an unexpected turn, leaving fans disheartened as the event ended abruptly. The *Mere Humsafar* star later took to Instagram to shed light on the chaotic incident, alleging that an event organizer’s misconduct forced her and her manager, Maida Azmat, to leave prematurely.
As per a report appeared in an English daily, in a series of heartfelt Instagram stories, Hania explained her decision, expressing her love and respect for fans while emphasizing the unfortunate circumstances that unfolded. She praised her fan base for fostering a community built on “love, trust, and support,” and said she felt compelled to offer them transparency about the ordeal.
“Everyone saw videos of me walking to the crowd, taking pictures—it was all fine,” she began. “But as I was returning to my seat, I overheard one of the organizers verbally abusing my manager. Naturally, I stepped in and confronted him, telling him it was unacceptable to speak to her that way. She was so shaken that she went backstage. I followed to make sure she was okay, and Fahad [Mustafa], being the gentleman he is, also came to check on her.”
According to Hania, the situation escalated backstage. Despite their efforts to take photos with fans and salvage the event, the organizer allegedly followed them, hurling insults and demanding they leave the venue.
“[He] called off security protocols and verbally assaulted us further—so much so that people had to hold him back,” she recounted. “Our promoter, Arif Khan, rushed us out to prevent the situation from escalating further. We even arranged our own transportation to return safely to the hotel.”
Hania made it clear that such behavior was unacceptable, regardless of the perpetrator’s position. She strongly condemned the culture of disrespect, especially towards women in male-dominated fields, and vowed to stand up against such attitudes.
“No one has the right to treat someone else with disrespect,” she asserted. “It’s wrong to assume women in this industry will tolerate anything without taking a stand. Promoters and organizers need to ensure that such clowns don’t ruin events for artists and fans alike.”
The *Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum* actor also called out media outlets, urging them to practice responsible journalism and avoid making baseless allegations against artists.
In a closing note to her fans, Hania apologized for the event’s abrupt end and reassured them of her love and gratitude. “To every single one of you who came, I am deeply sorry things had to end this way. I love you all dearly. Sometimes, we just have to get through the bad days,” she wrote.
Hania’s candid response highlights her commitment to her fans and her determination to stand against mistreatment—a powerful reminder that respect and professionalism should prevail in every sphere.
